This is a very sad day for our country and a sad day for Haitians across the world. It’s really hard to imagine and and put into words what I’m watching on television. Haiti down to its knees in ruins. It’s also hard to understand why this small country has seen so much hardships in the past few years. From hurricanes, floods and now an earthquake! On top of the extreme poverty that already existed now we need to add homelessness and more poverty. Nonetheless, we have to be strong and pray for God to give us strengths to move forward and help Haiti.
and help. These our are mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, and friends and they need us more than ever! We need to rally together and help.
2 Chronicles 7 14-15
if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place.

What can I say, its been a crazy few months planning this dinner. Had issue with the place, caterer and people who couldn’t keep their word. Yet through it all, I pressed forward, believing this was all of part of God’s plans. His plan for me to trust and know him in a different way. When life bring you lemon make lemonade. Challenges in our life are not meant to kill us, but to make us stronger in order to change our perspective on life. The next time things in your life seem out of control, just let go and Let GOD. Rest in him who’s in control of everything. That’s all For now, Hope to see you all at the dinner tomorrow evening.

The 2008 hurricanes season has caused major devastation for the island of Haiti. Four storms passed through the small island and flooded the country. The last four storms that hit flooded the country to its knees. As a result ,800 people died, and thousands were left homeless.
This 2009 hurricane season ,it is forecast that 14 tropical storms would develop into 7 major hurricanes. This is already bad news for the country, because they have to await more floods, damages, to their homes.
We are starting a Hurricane Fund that will help families in need to get through such bad times.
We are looking for pledges:
Pledge $25, $50, $75 for one year or 6 months. We have match program.
Any donations of $100 and more the board will match that donation.
Remember all donations are tax deductibles. Please make check and money order to Destinee Ministries Worldwide.
