Greetings, I hope the year is up to a great start for all. With so many chaos in the world today its hard to find peace and security in the things that we used to in the past. But it’s great to know in mist of all the troubles God is always there to keep us safe. “Psalm 91:11-12” For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.” The crash or almost crash of US Airways flight 1549 was an eye opener for me; shortly after I finished praying yesterday, I turn on the television to see the headline “Miracle on the Hudson”,I was shock by the horror of what I saw, but thankful that God was there and lives were spared.
That scene as a Christian helped me appreciate the fact that I know no matter what happens God is there. It’s funny or maybe sad, its only during the time of trouble we remember that God exist. Psalm 91:14-15 says Because he loves me,” says the LORD, “I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name. “He will call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him.”Those people on that flight yesterday were praying, calling on the heavens for one more chance to do things right. To do things differently, but thank God he heard their prayers and gave us another chance as a people, as a church and as a nation to reconnect with him. Jeremiah 29:13 said You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. Its time we make God priority in our life, and find him while he may be found, before time runs out. I believe the miracle on the Hudson is God way of reminding us he’s God and he waiting for us to come back to him. Now that he got your attention, make a resolution that this year, this month, this week, better yet today make time to for God, add him to your schedule. He’s waiting on you.
May God continue to bless you and your family,
Jacmodline
